Waitlist
In DaySmart Salon, you can get even more out of your appointment book by utilizing the Waitlist feature.


Adding an Entry to the Waitlist:

  1. Navigate to your Appointment Book page. On the left, under the quick search calendar, you’ll find the Waitlist.

  2. Select ‘Add to Waitlist’ to get started adding an entry.

  3. Select the Client you wish to add to the waitlist. Alternatively, you can select to Add a New Client if the client you want to enter is new to the business.

  4. Next Select the Employee this client would prefer to see or leave this selection on First Available if the client has no preference.

  5. Choose the preferred Date and Time frame the client would like to be seen.

  6. Add the Service or Services this client would like to have performed.

  7. You can also add a comment to this entry.

  8. After your information is entered, click Save on the top right to add the entry to the waitlist.

Same-day entries will show the minutes that the client has been waiting on the list. Any future date entries will display the date the waitlist entry was made.

Editing Waitlist Entry

  1. Select Pencil Icon on the waitlist entry you wish to edit.

  2. Edit as needed

  3. Select Save to save changes and close the pop-up.

Adding Waitlist Entry to the Appointment book
There are two ways to move an entry from the waitlist to your appointment book.


Add by drag and drop feature

  1. Click and hold the drag and drop icon on the waitlist entry.

  2. Drag to the desired date and time on the appointment book and release.

  3. Confirm details for the appointment and click add to book. The appointment information will be taken from the waitlist and converted to an active appointment.

Add by Editing the Entry

  1. Select the pencil icon on the entry you wish to schedule

  2. Select Create Appointment

  3. Enter a time, date, and employee for the appointment

  4. Select Schedule to add it to the appointment book. The appointment information will be taken from the waitlist and converted to an active appointment.
