Double Booking

This article will walk you through finding your double booking settings within your DaySmart Software.

  1. First you will need to login to your Daysmart Software on your web browser.

  2. Once logged in, find the More tab. This will be to the right of the Appointment Book icon, represented as three dots.

  3. Once you have clicked on More, select Settings. This will take you to the Management Option screen. (Another way of finding this tab is by clicking the name displayed in the top right hand corner and selecting Management Options).

  4. Here you will select the Management tab.

  5. Select the first option that says Appt Scheduling.

  6. The first option listed on this page is Overlapping Appointments.

  7. Here you will see two options: Warn and Don’t Allow.

    1. By default, these settings are set to off.

  8. If you wish to have the software warn you when trying to double book an employee turn this on by clicking the Warn box until you see On in green. If you wish to have it off, click this box until you see Off in red.

  9. If you wish to have the software stop users from being able to double book, select the box that says Don’t Allow. Same rule applies, if you wish to turn it on, select the box until you see On in green. If you wish to have it turned off, select Off in red.

  10. After you have made your changes, the software will save the changes automatically.

Online Booking will not allow you to double book with a single employee. There is no override for this so nobody should be able to be double booked when booking online
