Employee Service Limitations

Using individual services or service categories, limitations can be set for the services that an employee is able to perform on the Service Limitations tab. The service limitations you set will be used to determine what is displayed when adding or editing a ticket and searching for a product or service; the Look Up screen that appears when searching for a Service ID on the Ticket Information screen will only display those services that the employee can perform.

  1. Go to Employees and double click on the employee you wish to set limitations for.

  2. Click the Services Limitations tab.

  3. Select This employee can only perform the following services and service categories

  4. Select the service or services the employee CAN perform by clicking on the Add Service button.

  5. Select the service and click the OK button.

  6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for each service.

  7. To add categories of services the employee can perform, select the service category from the Available Categories section and click the Add>> button to add the category to the Used Categories section.

  8. Repeat Step 7 for each service category to add.

  9. Click Save to return to the Employees screen.
